Barry Drake is the guitarist / vocalist of the band. If an Eric Clapton tune or Stevie Ray Vaughn number is requested, he is the obvious man for the job. He can swing like Brian Setzer (or David Lee Roth), then reverse field and supply the drama required for a "Queensryche" ballad or step out to play mandolin on 'Maggie Mae'. Prior to joining The Hathaways,Barry was one of the founding members of the band Goin' Home (from the 70's & 80's) and has played with other groups such as Kilo, Mariner, Taxi Dancer, Diver, and the world renowned Chuck Alan Barry Band.
